Abstract

Religious character is a function of religious character, which is to be able to build awareness in children about the existence of God and its relationship with the creator. In character education, Madrasas have a religious curriculum context which is very useful for the achievement of students to become human beings who are faithful, pious, have noble character, are orderly, disciplined in accordance with existing regulations, then students are expected to have a sense of courtesy, obedience to their parents. and teachers, and have a sense of caring for the environment. So it can be concluded that the values ​​of religious character are very important because there are values ​​of Islamic religious education in them, with the planning of religious character education that goes well, the structure and vision and mission, in the form of lesson plans, syllabus, and Religious Culture Drafts in Madrasas then the implementation of activities Maximum Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM), then evaluations carried out by the school such as direct observations.
