Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in cultivating the spiritual intelligence of students at Nurul Islam High School. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research, because with the aim to describe or describe the phenomena that exist in the research location. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study are data collection, data presentation, drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers at Nurul Islam High School in cultivating students' spiritual intelligence are carried out in several ways: Becoming role models for their students, helping students formulate their life mission, reading the Qur'an with students and explaining its meaning in life, telling students about the great stories of spiritual figures, inviting students to discuss various issues with a spiritual perspective, inviting students to visit places where people are suffering, involving students in religious activities, inviting students to enjoy the beauty of nature, involve students in social activities, and form a nasyit team.
