KOMPARASI FILSAFAT PENDIDIKAN BARAT DAN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM

Educational philosophy has a very strategic role in order to increase human resources and be able to solve complex problems in everyday life. In fact, the concept of educational philosophy is not only taken from the West, but Islam also has the concept of an educational philosophy. Both the Philosophy of Western Education and the philosophy of Islamic education, both have a role as a reference for implementation in the world of education. The results of the research that the author can convey here are that between typologies of Islamic and Western educational philosophies there are differences. The typology of Western educational philosophy is more concerned with cognitive aspects only, while the typology of Islamic educational philosophy is concerned with many aspects namely cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects which result in typology of Islamic educational philosophy having more value when compared to the typology of Western educational philosophy.
