Hubungan Antara Kompetensi Guru Al-Quran Hadits Dengan Prestasi Belajar Perserta Didik Mata Pelajaran Al-Quran Hadits Kelas II SD IT Al Muhsin Metro Kecamatan Metro Selatan

Abstrak

This study aims to examine the relationship between the competencies of Al-Quran Hadith teachers and the learning achievement of students in the Al-Quran Hadith subject in grade II at SD IT Al Muhsin Metro, Metro Selatan District. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, which allows the researcher to explore in depth the experiences, perceptions, and practices of teachers in the Al-Quran Hadith learning process and how it affects student learning outcomes. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation of student grades, which were then analyzed descriptively to identify patterns and meanings emerging from teacher-student interactions. The results show that teacher competencies, including pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies, significantly influence how Al-Quran Hadith learning is delivered and received by students. Teachers who possess strong mastery of the material and adequate pedagogical skills are able to create a conducive learning environment, motivate students, and apply diverse teaching methods, leading to improved student achievement. Furthermore, teachers’ social skills and personality traits also affect students' understanding of Al-Quran Hadith material, indicating that the relationship between teacher competency and student achievement is complex and mutually influential. The findings provide important implications for the professional development of teachers, particularly in Al-Quran Hadith subjects, and serve as a foundation for efforts to improve the quality of teaching and student learning achievement at SD IT Al Muhsin Metro. The study recommends ongoing teacher training to enhance their competencies, so that the positive impact on students' learning outcomes can be maximized.
