UPAYA GURU UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJARSISWA DALAM MATA PELAJARAN AL-QUR’AN HADITS DI MIS AL- IKHLAS NATAR TAHUN PELAJARAN 2025/2026

Abstrak

This study aims to describe the teacher’s efforts to improve students’ learning motivation in the subject of Al-Qur’an Hadith at MIS Al- Ikhlas Natar in the 2025/2026 academic year. The issue of low motivation was observed through students’ lack of active participation, low interest in reading the material, and minimal enthusiasm in completing assigned tasks. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.

The findings reveal that teachers implemented various strategies to enhance students’ learning motivation, including the use of diverse learning methods such as interactive lectures, question-and-answer activities, and educational games; providing rewards; giving verbal reinforcement; and cultivating habits such as reading selected verses to foster love for Al-Qur’an Hadith. In addition, teachers built positive communication, created an enjoyable classroom atmosphere, and modeled good character as daily practice. These efforts were proven to increase student participation, encourage active questioning, and improve students’ overall engagement in the learning process.
