Abstrak

This study examines Islamic law's perspective on the concept of a harmonious family in the context of families with members with career roles, particularly working wives. This study uses a library research approach, a method involving data collection through library materials, reading, note-taking, and analyzing literature relevant to the research topic. The results of the study indicate that a harmonious family is understood as a harmonious family where Islamic teachings are upheld and relationships of mutual respect and affection are created among family members. In this ideal family, each member is able to carry out their respective responsibilities and support one another. However, for economic reasons, sometimes wives also work to help meet the family's needs. Although Islam strongly encourages women to focus on taking care of the household, this does not prevent women from actively participating in social life and community empowerment, as long as they maintain their responsibilities as wives and mothers, and observe good manners and etiquette when leaving the house, both in terms of dress and other behavior.
