IMPLEMENTASI MANAJEMEN STRATEGI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN METODE PENGAJARAN BAHASA ARAB
Abstract
The aim of this research is to find out how to implement strategic management to improve Arabic language teaching methods at the Ar Raayah Arabic Language College, Sukabumi, West Java. The type of research chosen is qualitative with observation, interview and documentation methods. The results of the research show that improving Arabic language teaching methods at the Ar Raayah College of Arabic Language, Sukabumi, West Java implements strategic management in the form of formulating strategic management which includes: 1) formulating a mission; 2) identify opportunities; 3) evaluate strengths and weaknesses; 4) set long-term goals; 5) generate alternative strategies; 6) choose the most appropriate strategy; and 7) resource allocation. Next is the implementation of strategic management which includes: 1) interaction from both parties between students and teachers; 2) ensure students' understanding; 3) pause for a moment, before continuing the next theory; 4) involving students in delivering lesson material; 5) involve students in answering questions from their friends; 6) motivate students to read the learning material first before explaining it; 7)involving students in answering questions from friends who do not understand; 8) assign students to be able to summarize the lesson either orally or in writing; 9) make students the main goal in learning, so that with this strategy a teacher will be more focused and more serious in the learning process; and 10) when students find it difficult to understand the lesson, the teacher concerned must look for other alternatives as a substitute. Then evaluate strategic management which includes: 1) assessing teachers when carrying out teaching in the classroom; 2) assess the teacher outside the classroom; And 3) assessments related to activities around campus
