Based on the results of the pre-survey of daily grades for PAI class Mts Junjungan Sayyid Hamim academic year, there are severalstudents who have not completed it because the learning process still uses learning methods that do not support student activity. Teachers still often use the lecture method. The formulation of the problem in this research is: "can the Jigsaw learning method improve PAI learning outcomes for class VII at Mts Junjungan Sayyid Hamim?Referring to the problem mentioned above, the author tries to improve student learning outcomes by using a jigsaw type learning model, with material on Applying the Law of Reading Nun Mati/Tanwin and Mim Mati and Increasing Faith in Angels. In learning, students will be directly involved in learning activities. This research took the form of classroom action research which was carried out over 2 cycles, the stages were planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting.
The aim of this research is to apply the Jigsaw type learning model in order to increase student learning activities in Islamic Religious Education subjects and to improve the learning outcomes of class VII students at Mts Junjungan Sayyid Hamim. The data collection technique used in this research is by using learning outcomes tests, observation and documentation.Based on the results of classroom action research and the discussions that have been put forward, the following conclusions can be drawn: learningUsing the Jigsaw type learning model can increase the activity and learning outcomes of class VII A students at Mts Junjungan Sayyid Hamim this can be seen from the increase in learning activities in cycle I of 54.38% and in cycle II of 84.6%. This shows that there was an increase in learning activities by 29.68% from cycle I to cycle II. Completeness of learning outcomes in cycle I was 59.09% and in cycle II was 81.81% or an increase of 22.72%.
