PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN KOMIK DIGITAL BERBASIS STEM UNTUK SISWA KELAS V MI NURUL HIDAYAH ROWOREJO

Abstract The lack of technology in mathematics learning media causes a lack of interest in student learning. The use of STEM-based digital comics can assist teachers in facilitating student learning. STEM is a growing trend and can make students independent and technology literate. STEM makes students learn mathematics that is integrated with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This study aimed to develop STEM-based digital comic media on the material for class V curriculum 2013 numbers in the form of interactive flipbooks, to determine the feasibility level of the generated media, and to analyze respondents' assessments of the resulting STEM-based digital comic learning media. The research method used is the Research and Development Method with the ADDIE Model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). In the analysis phase, literature studies and field studies were carried out. The design stage is to make an assessment instrument and product design. The Development stage consists of drawing sketches, lineart, coloring, object details, editing into interactive flipbooks, and media validation by experts/practitioners. The implementation stage is a trial of class V students at a State Islamic Junior High School in Jakarta. The Evaluation stage is to analyze the results of the validation and test results. The results showed that the validator's assessment of the average V-Aiken coefficient was 0.805 with valid criteria. The researcher implemented interactive digital comics for class V students at one of the State Islamic Junior High Schools in Jakarta and obtained 81% with the appropriate measures.
