This study aims to describe and analyze the role of school principal leadership in enhancing the professionalism of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Wajar Ma’arif Sribhawono, Bandar Sribhawono Subdistrict, East Lampung Regency. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that the school principal implements a participatory and visionary leadership style through coaching, academic supervision, motivational support, and facilitation of training programs designed to strengthen teachers’ pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies. The principal also fosters a collaborative work culture, encourages instructional innovation, and ensures the availability of necessary educational facilities and infrastructure. Challenges encountered include limited time, insufficient external training opportunities, and varying teacher abilities in adapting to professional demands. Overall, this study concludes that the leadership of the school principal plays a crucial role in improving the professionalism of Islamic Education teachers at MI Wajar Ma’arif Sribhawono.
