Abstrak

This research is a classroom action research (CAR) where data delivery uses observation, documentation and tests. With the stages of planning, implementation of actions, observation and reflection. The research subjects were students of class V MI Nurul Ulum I. The data collection technique used a test. The test conducted by the researcher used a pre-test (to see students' knowledge of the material to be delivered and to divide students into groups) and a post-test (to see students' abilities after the learning process using the Teams Games Tournament model). The results of the study showed that learning outcomes in Cycle I of 21 students who completed learning were 12 students or 57.2% while those who did not complete learning were 9 students or 42.8%. While in cycle II there was an increase from 21 students, the learning outcomes of students who completed were 18 students or 85.7%, while those who did not complete were 3 students or 14.3%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that cooperative learning of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type can improve student learning outcomes in the social studies subject of class V MI SA.
