Peran Guru Kelas dalam Menanam Sikap Nasionalisme Siswa di MI Kunjungan Sayyid Hamim Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024

Abstrak

Abstract This research aims to explore the role of class teachers in instilling attitudes of nationalism in students at the Sayyid Hamim Visiting Islamic Elementary School (MI). The attitude of nationalism is an important aspect in forming students' character as responsible citizens who love their homeland. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data was collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with class teachers, and analysis of documents related to the school curriculum and activities. The research results show that class teachers have a crucial role in instilling an attitude of nationalism in students at MI Visiting Sayyid Hamim. They not only teach subject matter, but also become examples and guides for students in loving their country and understanding national values. Classroom teachers use a variety of creative and innovative learning methods, such as stories, role-playing, and collaborative projects, to strengthen students' understanding of Indonesian history, culture, and nationality. Apart from that, the research results also highlight the importance of support from the school and family in strengthening the formation of students' nationalist attitudes. Collaboration between teachers, schools and parents is key in creating an environment that supports the development of nationalist attitudes in students. These findings provide an important contribution to the development of learning strategies and character development in Islamic education environments. In conclusion, the role of class teachers in instilling students' attitudes of nationalism at Sayyid Hamim's Visiting MI is very significant. With appropriate learning methods, support from schools and families, as well as good collaboration between all related parties, the formation of nationalist character in students can be achieved effectively. It is hoped that this research can provide guidance and inspiration for other schools in their efforts to increase national values in the younger generation.
