Kemampuan Menemukan Ide Pokok Paragraf Melalui Pendekatan Konstruktivisme Dalam Proses Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SD Negeri 1 Ngestikarya

Abstrak

Abstract This research aims to investigate the ability of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Ngestikarya in finding the main idea of a paragraph through a constructivist approach in the Indonesian language learning process. The constructivism approach emphasizes the active role of students in constructing their own knowledge through interaction with learning material. The research method used is qualitative research with a case study design. The subjects of this research were 25 class V students. Data was collected through observation, interviews and document analysis. The data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis with data reduction, display and verification processes. The research results show that applying a constructivist approach in learning Indonesian can improve students' ability to find the main idea of a paragraph. Students show progress in identifying the main idea of a paragraph and are able to connect it with supporting ideas. Factors that influence students' ability to find the main idea of a paragraph using a constructivist approach include students' active involvement in learning, the use of various learning strategies that encourage reflection and discussion, and teacher support in providing constructive feedback. This research contributes to the development of an Indonesian language learning model that is more interactive and student-centered, as well as providing insight for teachers in designing learning that takes into account the process of students' knowledge construction.
