IMPLEMENTASI BERMAIN EKSPLORASI DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN KREATIVITAS ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN DI TK PATRIA WONODADI KECAMATAN GADING REJO KABUPATEN PRINGSEWU

Abstrak

Exploratory play is exploring the field with the aim of gaining more knowledge, especially of the natural resources found in that place. Exploration can also be said to be an activity to gain new experiences and new situations. Exploration can give children the opportunity to see, understand, feel, and ultimately create something that interests them. The formulation of the problem in this research is "How to apply exploration games in developing the creativity of children aged 5-6 years at TK Patria Wonodadi Merbau Mataram Kindergarten". The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of exploratory games in developing children's creativity. This research uses a type of qualitative descriptive research which aims to objectively describe the conditions of the research site using a series of words or sentences, with the research subjects being 1 teacher and 15 children at Patria Wonodadi Kindergarten. The data collection tools that the author uses are observation, interviews and documentation

Based on the research conducted, the author can conclude that the teacher has implemented steps for children's exploration activities in accordance with the theory they understand, and from the steps for exploratory play activities using newspaper media in developing the creativity of children aged 5-6 years. In the Tunas Harpan Merbau Kindergarten, Mataram, South Lampung, it was said that several of these steps were not used during pre-research, but after the author carried out the research, he succeeded in using the exploratory steps of playing with old newspapers to develop creativity, although sometimes there was one step that was not used. However, the researchers got a good ending even though the results were that 60% of children developed as expected.
