Pengaruh Kualitas Pembelajaran Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa Pada Bidang Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMK N 7 Bandar Lampung

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of learning quality on students’ academic achievement in Islamic Religious Education at SMK Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung. The research background is the gap between expected learning outcomes and students’ varied academic results. Learning quality, including teaching strategies, teacher competence, media use, assessment, and learning environment, is considered an essential factor in improving student motivation and academic performance. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study design to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the learning process in Islamic Religious Education at the institution. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with Islamic Education teachers, students, and academic administrators, as well as documentation related to learning implementation and student assessment results. The data analysis was conducted using reduction, display, and conclusion drawing procedures to ensure systematic interpretation aligned with the research focus. Triangulation of sources and methods was utilized to enhance the validity of the findings and ensure the credibility and accuracy of the conclusions. The findings of this study indicate that learning quality has a significant influence on the academic achievement of Islamic Education students. Teachers who successfully applied innovative learning strategies such as project-based learning, interactive discussions, guided lectures, and digital learning media demonstrated a positive impact on students’ motivation and interest in learning. The alignment between instructional goals, content delivery, learning strategies, and evaluation methods also supports improvements in student outcomes. Other factors, including effective teacher-student communication, constructive feedback, and reinforcement of learning discipline, further contribute to academic success. In conclusion, improving the quality of learning plays a strategic role in enhancing students’ academic achievement in Islamic Religious Education at SMK Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung.
