PENGARUH PENGELOLAAN KELAS TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR MATA PELAJARAN FIQIH SISWA KELAS V MI MATHLA'UL ANWAR PESAWARAN

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the effect of classroom management on the learning achievement of Fiqh subjects in grade V students of MI Mathla'ul Anwar Pesawaran. The background of this study is based on the importance of classroom management as a strategic factor in creating a conducive, orderly learning atmosphere that supports students' active involvement in the learning process. A qualitative approach was chosen so that researchers could gain a deep understanding of the dynamics of classroom management applied by teachers, as well as how these strategies affect students' motivation, discipline, and achievement of learning outcomes. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with research subjects including Fiqh subject teachers, grade V students, and the principal of the madrasah. This study focuses on managerial aspects such as seating arrangements, time management, use of learning media, and interpersonal approaches between teachers and students. The results of the study indicate that effective classroom management has a significant positive effect on improving student learning achievement in Fiqh subjects. Teachers who are able to create an orderly, pleasant, and communicative classroom environment have proven to be more successful in building student learning motivation and encouraging active participation during the learning process. In addition, the use of adaptive classroom management strategies to student characteristics can minimize disruptions and increase learning focus. This finding reinforces the importance of the role of teachers not only as material deliverers, but also as professional class managers. Therefore, this study recommends regular training for teachers in classroom management and periodic evaluation of learning practices so that the quality of the teaching and learning process in madrasas is increasingly optimal and has a positive impact on students' academic achievement.
