PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN DENGAN METODE BERMAIN PERAN DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA ARAB DI KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR ISLAM TERPADU AL MUHSIN METRO

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of learning strategies with role-playing methods in learning Arabic in class V of SDIT Al Muhsin Metro. The background of this study is based on the importance of mastering Arabic as the main language in Islamic education, both in understanding religious texts and as a means of communication. However, in practice, learning Arabic in elementary schools often experiences obstacles such as low motivation and active participation of students. Therefore, strategies that can increase student involvement and understanding are needed. The role-playing method was chosen because it is able to create an active, contextual, and enjoyable learning atmosphere. This study uses a qualitative approach with a field study type, through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through descriptive reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that this method was effective in improving speaking skills (maharah al-kalam), strengthening vocabulary, and building students' self-confidence in speaking Arabic. Teachers play a role in designing scenarios, facilitating interactions, and providing feedback. The obstacles faced include time constraints and differences in student abilities, which require adaptive strategies. In conclusion, the role-playing method is an effective strategy in learning Arabic, and is worthy of being used as a reference for teachers to create active and meaningful learning.
