Upaya Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam Dalam Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Siswa Di Sdn 2 Tarahan Kecamatan Katibung Lampung Selatan

Abstract

This study aims to describe the efforts made by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers to improve students’ learning achievement at SDN 2 Tarahan, Katibung District, South Lampung. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings show that PAI teachers implement various strategic efforts, including systematic lesson planning, the use of diverse teaching methods such as discussions, demonstrations, and Islamic storytelling, as well as providing individual guidance to students who experience learning difficulties. Teachers also serve as role models in character and worship, thereby enhancing students’ learning motivation through affective approaches. Moreover, continuous feedback, formative assessment, and collaboration with parents contribute to improving students’ learning outcomes. The study concludes that well-planned, creative, and consistent efforts by PAI teachers have a significant impact on enhancing students’ learning achievement at SDN 2 Tarahan.
