This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic value-based education in shaping students’ character at MAS Al-Furqon Tegal Cabe, Cilegon City, Banten. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The participants included the school principal, Islamic Education teachers, religious activity supervisors, and several students selected using purposive sampling. The findings indicate that Islamic value-based education is implemented through religious habituation activities, teacher role-modeling, contextual Islamic Education learning, and a religious school environment. These practices play a significant role in shaping students’ character by fostering discipline, politeness, social awareness, and religious attitudes. However, the study also found challenges related to external factors such as social environment and digital media influences. Overall, Islamic value-based education contributes significantly to the development of students’ character and should be strengthened through collaboration between the school, family, and community.
