HUBUNGAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR TERHADAP PERESTASI BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK MTS MIFTAHUL ULUM

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between learning motivation and student learning achievement. This type of research is quantitative research. Which is ex post factor. The population in this study were 160 students of MTs Miftahul Ulum, so the author took a sample of 30% of the population of around 30 people. The sampling technique used was statefed sample and 15 students were selected from VIII.1, 15 students of class VIII 2. The data in this study were obtained using questionnaires, test instruments and documentation. Furthermore, the research data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate that: there is a positive relationship between learning motivation of 14.4% while 58.6% is determined by other factors with the learning achievement of class VIII students. The implications of the research results obtained by the author, it is expected that Islamic religious education teachers can carry out motivation that can improve the learning achievement of students.
