PENGARUH STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN MIND MAPPING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK MATA PELAJARAN SEJARAH KEBUDAYAAN ISLAM KELAS IV DI MIN 1 BANDAR LAMPUNG

This study aims to determine the effect of mind mapping learning strategies on student learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) for grade IV at MIN 1 Bandar Lampung. The background of this study is based on the low learning outcomes of students due to less varied learning methods and the dominant use of lecture methods. The mind mapping strategy was chosen because it can help students understand and remember the material through concept map visualization. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. Data collection techniques were carried out through pre-tests and post-tests. The results of data analysis showed that there was a significant increase in learning outcomes in classes that used the mind mapping strategy compared to classes that used conventional methods. This is evidenced by the results of the t-test which showed a significance value (sig. 2-tailed) <0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the mind mapping learning strategy has a positive effect on improving student learning outcomes in the SKI subject. Therefore, teachers are advised to apply this strategy in the learning process, especially in materials that require a systematic and visual understanding of concepts
