Abstract

Abstract
This study aims to analyze how compensation can influence teacher performance within the framework of Islamic economics. Teacher performance is a key factor in improving educational quality, and appropriate compensation can significantly contribute to teachers' motivation and productivity. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method across several schools in Indonesia. Findings reveal that fair compensation aligned with the principles of Islamic economics not only enhances teachers' performance but also positively impacts the creation of a better learning environment for students. With clear benchmarks, this study elucidates the importance of a compensation structure rooted in justice and transparency. These findings provide recommendations for education policymakers to consider a more humane and equitable compensation structure.
