PERAN PONDOK PESANTREN DALAM PEMBERDAYAAN EKONOMI MASYARAKAT SEKITAR MENURUT PERSPEKTIF EKONOMI ISLAM

Abstrak

Islamic boarding schools can be the main foundation for the economic development of the surrounding community. Because the openness of Islamic boarding schools to the community will also have a positive impact on the boarding school, so there is mutual benefit between the construction of the Islamic boarding school and community development. In terms of business opportunities, for example, local residents can sell in the Islamic boarding school environment. This is promising, especially if the product being sold is something that the students really need. Islamic boarding schools can also set up business entities such as cooperatives which can help the community's economy by lending money to the community for business capital or to local communities who are willing to entrust their products to Islamic boarding school cooperatives. The aim of this research is to determine the role of the Sunatul Huda Islamic boarding school in empowering the community's economy and to determine the economic empowerment of the community at the Sunatul Huda Islamic boarding school according to an Islamic economic perspective. This research was conducted at the Sunatul Huda Natar Islamic Boarding School. This research uses field research with qualitative descriptive methods. The data needed in this research is primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from interviews and observations while secondary data was obtained through documents from the Sunatul Huda Natar Islamic Boarding School using data analysis techniques, namely the reduction of Sunatul Huda in empowering the community's economy through business units such as Sunatul Huda photocopying, laundry, convenience store (syirkah) Ginamart, canteen. With this business, the cottage plays a role in educating the community, in this case providing assistance and training, the role of the facility is to make it easier for the community to carry out economic activities.
