Abstrak

Tourism is becoming a sector that is starting to be taken into account or paid attention to in various countries, both developed and developing countries, including Indonesia. Indonesia, which has a very large territory and is supported by diverse natural and cultural resources, has great potential to be processed and utilized. Of the existing natural resources, tourism is one sector that has potential that is very worthy of being managed and developed optimally. Study. This research is descriptive in nature with a qualitative approach and then analyzed using qualitative analysis. Based on the results of the discussion and calculations above, it can be concluded that. Beach tourism has a role in increasing the district's PAD even though its contribution is relatively small and provides benefits to the surrounding community. Beaches have a role in absorbing labor and have a role in improving the quality of human resources. Beaches have a positive impact on local communities who are directly involved in tourism activities such as traders and so on. The existence of beach tourism also has a negative impact on the surrounding community which is related to the norms of the surrounding community, one of which is that it is used as a place for dating by young people who come to the tourist attraction. Beach tourism does provide positive benefits and impacts in terms of increasing income, business expansion, employment and so on. The impact/benefits felt by the local community from beach tourism are not very significant because the tourism only provides benefits to the local community who are directly involved in tourism activities such as traders, ride providers and so on
