The Rural Agribusiness Development Program (PUAP) is a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing farmers’ economic independence through strengthening farmer groups (Gapoktan) and providing accessible business capital. This study analyzes the implementation of PUAP and its impact on production improvement, cost efficiency, and the overall welfare of farmers in Argomulyo Village, Banjit District, Way Kanan Regency. The findings reveal that PUAP significantly reduces production costs, particularly in fertilizer, pesticide, and operational expenses. Increased productivity and reduced costs consequently improved farmers’ income from an average of Rp 55,100,000 to Rp 72,300,000 per planting season. Beyond economic gains, the program also positively influences social welfare, including improved education, health, and family independence. From an Islamic Economic perspective, PUAP aligns with the principles of maqashid sharia, notably the preservation of wealth (hifzh al-mal), life (hifzh al-nafs), and intellect (hifzh al-‘aql). Thus, the program not only enhances material welfare but also strengthens spiritual values and social solidarity among farmers
