Abstract

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of the agricultural sector and the processing industry sector on the economic growth of Lampung Tengah Regency during the period 2019-2024, from the perspective of Islamic economics. Lampung Tengah Regency, located in a strategic area of Lampung Province, relies on agriculture and processing industries as the main pillars of the regional economy. The analysis was performed using secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and local government reports. The findings indicate that the agricultural sector significantly contributes to the regional gross domestic product (GDP) of the regency, with key commodities including rice, oranges, and palm oil. Meanwhile, the processing industry has shown rapid growth, playing a role in increasing the added value of agricultural products. In the context of Islamic economics, sustainability and justice in the development of both sectors are of paramount importance, with hopes of creating equitable welfare for the community. These findings are expected to provide insights for policymakers in formulating sustainable and inclusive economic development strategies in Lampung Tengah Regency.
