Abstract

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the relationship between fair compensation and teacher performance in the context of Islamic economics. In Islamic economic perspectives, principles of justice and welfare are highly emphasized, making compensation not only a financial reward but also a measure of appreciation for teacher professionalism. Data collected from several schools in Indonesia indicate that adequate compensation can significantly contribute to enhancing teacher motivation and productivity. This research finds that good compensation allocation affects not only individual performance but also fosters a positive working environment in education. This study highlights the importance of understanding that teacher performance is closely related to their emotional and physical conditions, which are strongly influenced by the compensation systems in place. These findings have practical implications for human resource management in education, aligning with the norms and values inherent in Islamic economics.
