Abstract
BUMDes (Village-Owned Enterprises) is an important instrument in developing the economy of rural communities. However, various factors hinder the development of BUMDes, especially those related to Islamic business management. This study aims to identify these factors with a focus on BUMDes Karang Anyar in Jati Agung District. Through a qualitative approach and data analysis, this research finds that internal factors such as a lack of managerial skills and inadequate human resources are the main obstacles. Additionally, external factors such as a lack of government support and limited access to markets also contribute to the stagnation of BUMDes. This study is expected to provide recommendations for better BUMDes management development that aligns with Islamic business principles.
