MANAJEMEN TRAVEL HAJI DAN UMRAH DALAM MEREKRUT JAMAAH (Studi PT. Amara Tour And Travel)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of Hajj and Umrah Travel Management in recruiting pilgrims at PT. Amara Tours and Travels. This research is a qualitative research, in this study there are 3 subs that will be examined more deeply, namely: regarding the process of registering pilgrims and Umrah pilgrims, Management in recruiting pilgrims and challenges and opportunities in recruiting pilgrims at PT. Amara Tours and Travels. The author uses the data collection method which is done through observation, interviews, documentation, while data sources are obtained through interviews with the leadership, staff, pilgrims and prospective pilgrims at PT. Amara Tours and Travels. The results of the research and discussion in this thesis are, The initial step administration process is carried out for registration for prospective pilgrims both hajj and umrah. Management in recruiting pilgrims conducted by PT. Amara Tour and Travel includes planning, organizing, movement/implementation, monitoring and evaluation. While the process is carried out such as socialization by participating in exhibitions, advertisements in the media, brochures, billboards and so on. And recruiting pilgrims also has challenges as well as opportunities. The challenges faced include the division of labor that is not optimal, the increase in the dollar exchange rate, and the congregation that does not understand. While the opportunities faced are by comparing the prices of other travel agents and the certainty of departure for pilgrims.
