Abstrak

The purpose of this study is to determine and describe the implementation of marriage registration services at the Religious Affairs Office (KUA) in ) Belitang Ii Oku Timur Regency, and to identify and analyze the inhibiting factors in the implementation of marriage registration services at the Religious Affairs Office (KUA) in Sangasanga District, ) Belitang Ii Oku Timur. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method. The data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. Key informants in this study were the Head and Employees of the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) of ) Belitang Ii Oku Timur, while other informants were the community or prospective brides and grooms in Lubuk Raja Batumarta Dua Oku Utama District. The results obtained from this study stated that the implementation of marriage registration services at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) of ) Belitang Ii Oku Timur was quite good, however, on the other hand, to further support and support the implementation of marriage registration services, it must be supported by clear information about the procedures for marriage registration services and clarity about the costs that must be incurred by prospective brides and grooms to carry out the marriage contract process inside or outside the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA), in addition to the employee discipline factor and inadequate facilities and infrastructure factors must also be improved so that the implementation of services at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) of ) Belitang Ii Oku Timur becomes more optimal and the desired goals can be achieved.
