ANALISIS ETOS KERJA KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM PENGEMBANGAN KUALITAS PENDIDIKAN DI SD NEGERI 92/ VII PEMATANG KOLIM I

Abstract

Educational Management in this case has a strategic role in determining the direction of a nation's development. So, character education management should be applied in every world of children's lives, starting from the family, school, even in the play environment. In this position, character education requires strong collaboration with the educational curriculum in schools, where the educational management implemented must be able to support the education of children's positive attitudes and behavior. Therefore, this research aims to describe and understand educational management in developing students' interests, attitudes and positive behavior at SD Negeri 92/ VII Pematang Kolim I. This research method uses a qualitative approach with triangulation data collection techniques. . The results of the research show that the implementation of character education management in developing students' interests, attitudes and positive behavior is based on objective planning with clear and specific objectives, having regular education programs, developing activities in the form of intra-curricular, extra-curricular, guidance and counseling activity programs with objectives. as the formation of student character education, increasing student skills in humanizing practices and other skills. Character education management provisions in developing students' interests, attitudes and positive behavior in the form of long-term and short-term programs are implemented by example, direction, assignment, habituation and environmental creation. This influences students' character in the form of leadership, discipline, trust, sincerity and politeness. These conditions support the creation of an environment, namely a healthy and conducive learning environment, everything that students hear, see and suggest is an element of education.
