Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of school culture on teacher performance and the influence of teacher work motivation on teacher performance. This type of research is qualitative research that originates from existing theories and previous research journals that are relevant to the variables in this study. The results showed that school culture had a positive effect on teacher performance, teacher work motivation had a positive effect on teacher performance. School culture must be based on attitudes, values, norms, behavior, and expectations. If all of these elements have been formed, behavior and expectations will tend to be stable so that the atmosphere created will be more conducive. This atmosphere ultimately provides comfort for teachers in carrying out their duties. The success of an educational institution is not only related to the complete facilities and infrastructure that support learning activities, teachers who are competent and have good quality and good student input, but also cannot be separated from the role of school culture in increasing the effectiveness of learning activities in schools.
