Abstract

The Focus This religious extracurricular activity is one of the realizations of the teaching and learning process which requires students to be active in teaching and learning activities, both during school hours and outside school hours, so that they are expected to be able to develop their interests and talents. The purpose of this research is to find out about the implementation of extracurricular activities in developing the interests and talents of students in MAN 1 OKU. In this study using qualitative research methods, researchers conducted structured and unstructured interviews with resource persons (extracurricular activity trainers) supported by documentation data and direct observation. The results of the implementation of religious extracurricular activities in developing the interests and talents of students at MAN 1 OKU can be seen from the achievements obtained, namely 1. Participating in inter-district competitions. 2. Appeared at MAN 1 OKU to commemorate Santri Day 22 October 2022 3. Appeared at several grand recitations in the village of Tebing Suluh. 4. Participated in commemoration of PHBI (commemoration of Islamic holidays) 5. Appeared at several community weddings around Tebing Suluh village. The values of Islamic religious education contained in extracurricular activities are 1. Aqidah values (faith) 2. Moral values (trust, iffah, courage, patience, tawadhuk.) 3. Worship values. Factors supporting hadroh, Qiro'ah and BTQ activities Students have the ability to play hadrah instruments, in Qiro'ah and BTQ so that the supervising teacher only has to hone and develop their talents, the inhibiting factors for hadroh, qiro'ah and BTQ (Read Write Qur'an) activities an) Many students are already able to play the hadrah, however, due to the practice time, many are not serious enough, they lack self-confidence and focus when practicing Qiro'ah and BTQ.
