Abstract

In carrying out a job, it will be seen how a person has a motivation and whether he works seriously or pretends. Responsible or not and so on. The way a person lives and performs work is determined by the views, expectations and habits of the work group. Therefore a person's work ethic can be influenced by the work ethic of his group. Work role is something that is abstarative, because it is included in the mental field related to attitudes that are hidden in the mind. That attitude comes from the values ​​that are adopted, which is something that is considered valuable and useful in life. The focus of this research is the work role of Madrasah MA Hdayatl Mubtadiin Jati Agung Rogowungu Central Lampung. Its sub-focus is discipline, responsibility, pride in the profession or work and hard-working mafrasah MA Hdayatl Mubtadiin Jati Agung. The purpose of this research is to find out "The work ethic of MA Hdayatl Mubtadiin Jati Agung madrasah headmaster Central Lampung Lampung. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study that is a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of words written or spoken from the people and actors observed, directed from an individual's background as a whole (holistic) without isolating the individual and his organization in a variable but looking at it as part of a wholeness. In the data collection techniques in this study various techniques were used, namely interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis procedure used in this study is qualitative analysis. Based on the findings of the analysis and discussion, the results of this study can be concluded that the work role of the madrasah head MA Hdayatl Mubtadiin Jati Agung continues to move towards significant improvement. It is clear from the breakthroughs towards something that is towards very innovative improvements, the hard work shown by the madrasa head both in working and influencing his subordinates so that the improvement of various aspects in MA Hdayatl Mubtadiin Jati Agung continues to grow rapidly, including the discipline of the madrasa head can become a benchmark for the increasing work role of MA Hdayatl Mubtadiin Jati Agung madrasas. Increasing the work role of MA Hdayatl Mubtadiin Jati Agung's headmasters continues to increase in accordance with the indicators listed in the concept of a good work role, so that in MA Hdayatl Mubtadiin Jati Agung madrasa head innovations become a breakthrough that is crucial to the improvement of madrassas towards global competition. Because the madrasa should be a benchmark of character education, of course, with a good work ethic of all madrasa steakholders, especially the work ethic of the madrasah head.
