UPAYA PENINGKATAN KUALITAS SUMBERDAYA MANUSIA DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA (SMP) NEGERI 3 PUGUNG KECAMATAN PUGUNG KABUPATEN TANGGAMUS TAHUN PELAJARAN 2022/2023

Abstract

Human resources (HR), can be seen from two aspects, namely quantity and quality. Within the scope of the School, human resources that really need to be improved include students, teachers and employees. What needs to be known is that actually realizing the ideals of education in schools that have been summarized in the vision, mission and goals are not solely determined by the quantity owned by the institution/school. However, the emphasis factor and quality improvement is the most important thing to do than quantity. The condition of human resources (HR), which consists of teachers and employees at SMPN 3 Pugung, Pugung District, Tanggamus Regency, can be said to be sufficient, and needs to be continuously developed. In theory it is said that an indicator of quality human resources is the appearance of educational graduates who have aqidah and spiritual strength, moral excellence and mastery of science and technology. The principal is a school personnel who is responsible for all school activities. From this theory, an understanding can be drawn that the existence of a school principal has a great responsibility for the management of the school as a whole, both educative and non-educational, educational staff and administrative staff. In managing an educational institution, it is felt that it is very important to have a school principal coaching its members so that they can carry out their duties properly. So that education services in schools can be of good value in the eyes of the public. The findings from research in the field show that the head of SMPN 3 Pugung, Pugung District, Tanggamus Regency also provides guidance to its members. This is shown by the examination/assessment carried out by the school principal on teacher productivity in the teaching and learning process as reported in the previous discussion.
