This research aims to explore the application of professional ethical principles in teacher performance management in Islamic schools. Qualitative research methods were used by conducting in-depth interviews and participant observation of teachers in several Islamic schools. Data were analyzed using a content analysis approach to identify the main themes that emerged from the research results. Research findings show that, although the majority of teachers have a good understanding of the principles of professional ethics, teacher performance management practices in Islamic schools do not fully reflect these principles. Challenges faced include a lack of transparency in the performance evaluation process, variations in the role of principals, and the impact on teacher motivation and performance. The implications of this research are the need for a more proactive role for school principals in creating an ethical and supportive work environment, as well as the need for reform in the teacher performance evaluation process to increase transparency and fairness. Greater efforts are also needed in providing ongoing training and development to teachers to increase their understanding and application of professional ethical principles in their practice. In conclusion, this research highlights the importance of applying the principles of professional ethics in teacher performance management in Islamic schools as an effort to improve the quality of education and provide a positive impact on the development of students and society as a whole.
