This research aims to evaluate the role of extracurricular activities in improving the academic achievement of Islamic education students. The research method used combines quantitative and qualitative approaches to gain a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between participation in extracurricular activities and student academic achievement. Data was obtained through surveys distributed to Islamic education students in several schools representing various levels of education, as well as through focus group interviews with students, extracurricular supervisors, and school staff. The results of quantitative and qualitative data analysis are then combined to provide a holistic understanding of the role of extracurriculars in the context of Islamic education. This research highlights the important role of extracurriculars in the context of Islamic education, with a focus on their influence on student academic achievement. Through a combined quantitative and qualitative approach, this research gained an in-depth understanding of the relationship between participation in extracurricular activities and academic achievement. The results show that students who are active in extracurriculars tend to have higher academic grades and develop valuable social skills. The implication of this research is the need for greater support from schools and the community to increase participation in extracurriculars, as well as recognition of the value of extracurriculars in achieving the broader goals of Islamic education. It is hoped that this research can provide a valuable contribution to the development of educational policies and best practices in improving the quality of Islamic education.
