UPAYA KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU KEGIATAN BELAJAR MENGAJAR DI SDN 3 KELURAHAN SUMBEREJO
Abstract
The improvement in the quality of teaching and learning activities can be measured through several criteria, namely input, process, and output. Input refers to how schools filter prospective students, while process refers to both teaching and learning methods in school led by a teacher (Teaching and Learning Activities), and output is the result of this process. To enhance the quality of teaching and learning activities, there must be actions or efforts from the school principal. These efforts include enhancing the professionalism of educational staff, providing advice and encouragement to school members, implementing engaging teaching models, utilizing school study time effectively, and consistently providing supervision to educational staff. Fundamentally, this research is qualitative descriptive, with data analysis techniques using descriptive methods. Therefore, the research results indicate that the Principal of SD Negeri 3 Sumberrejo always strives to improve the quality of teaching and learning activities through various means, including organizing or participating in training sessions to manage teaching and learning activities, ensuring that teachers match their respective competencies, providing guidance or motivation to students, ensuring the availability of teaching facilities and media to support teaching and learning activities, overseeing the progress of teaching and learning activities through supervision and guidance, Resource Management, Curriculum Development, Student Guidance, Stakeholder Collaboration, and Technology Utilization.
