Abstract

Teachers are the front guard in producing the next generation who have good character in the world of education, and are expected to become good children and be useful for the life of the nation and state, therefore, to support the above ideals, more persistent efforts are needed in In realizing shared ideals, one of the things that best supports this is the role of teachers which must be improved in the teaching and education of students. The researcher used a descriptive qualitative approach, namely using the observation interview method and also other observations such as data collection and documentation. Informants were determined using purpose sampling techniques. The author's analysis used is triangulation. The researcher's focus in the discussion includes three important things, namely: (1) What is the role of PAI teachers in forming morals in students at school?, (2) What factors support the role of PAI teachers in forming morals in students at school?, (3) ) What factors hinder the role of PAI teachers in forming morals in students at school? Discussion of research results on the role of PAI teachers in the formation of akhlakul karimah among students at An Nash Islamic Elementary School, South Jakarta, including: Instilling Islamic religious values ​​by providing religious knowledge in the form of faith and morals and providing role models as well as providing motivation and synergy to build cooperation between fellow educators and all components in the school area and community. The supporting factors are: the existence of very supportive facilities in the form of mosques, libraries, fields, cool classrooms, and teachers who have good competence, this can be seen from daily activities and practices in the school environment, and is no less important is cooperation between units of the security team and also cooperation between parents in educating children at home. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are, firstly, the lack of firmness or consequences regarding violations committed by some students, secondly, the presence of parents in their home environment who still allow their children to do things that are contrary to and not in accordance with what has been taught by teachers at school, thirdly, the use of gadgets. which is excessive by students who are left by their parents at home.
