Abstract

Appropriate teaching (learning strategies) is really needed in the teaching and learning process, so that learning objectives can be implemented optimally according to what has been planned. Learning as a subject closest to a child's life has a huge influence on the growth and development of a child's intelligence. PAUD (Early Childhood Education) is one of the educational institutions that is now attracting attention among the world of education and has become a necessity for education observers and policy makers. PAUD is also a coaching effort aimed at children from birth to six years of age, which is carried out through providing educational stimuli to help physical and spiritual growth and development so that children are ready to enter further education. The learning strategy for early childhood implemented at the Tahfidz Qur'an Darul Huffazh Rajabasa PAUD, Bandar Lampung city, always prioritizes the activity aspects of playing, singing (having fun), and working in the sense of activity. The teaching principles have a goal, activity, individuality, integrity, interactive, inspirational, fun, challenging, motivational. The child-centred learning approach models are: Montesori approach model, Bank Street approach model, High Scope approach model, Regio Emillia approach model, and Creative curriculum approach model.
