In a broader sense, the purpose of this research is to comprehend Imam Al-Ghazali's perspective on the meaning of Islamic religious education. The particular goals of this research are to determine al-Ghazali's views on science and to determine al-Ghazali's views on the idea of Islamic education. Both of these topics are important to the development of Islamic education. In order to answer the research objectives, qualitative data analysis approaches were used in this library research. These techniques included data analysis techniques with reflective thinking processes and data analysis strategies with back and forth thought processes. The writers also make use of the comparative technique in order to assess the data that is already available. This method involves examining the factors that are associated with the situation or phenomenon that is being researched and comparing one factor with another. The results of this study indicate that knowledge is a pathway to happiness both in this world and the next. In comparison to other forms of life, the application of science will elevate humans to the status of noble and respectable beings. First, the factors of Islamic education, which are as follows: (a) the main goal in studying is to obtain happiness in life in this world and in the hereafter, then what is used as the main foundation in the field of education is the Qur'an a and Hadith; (b) an educator must have the initial intention in educating to draw closer to Allah, be a role model for his students, and have competence in teaching; (c) students in learning must have knowledge of the Qur'an a and Had Second, the form of applying educational values in al-Ghazali's perspective today is defined by the rise of models of educational institutions that integrate Islamic educational values in their curriculum. These values include things like dhuha prayers, tadarus al-Qur'an, and congregational prayers, amongst other things.
