MANAJEMEN KEGIATAN EKSTRAKURIKULER DALAM PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER PESERTA DIDIK DI SMP NEGERI 12 PURWOREJO
Abstract
The main objective of education in Islam according to the Qur'an is to form human beings who are aware of their main task according to the purpose of their creation, namely as servants of Allah who are always obedient in carrying out worship solely directed to Him. This study uses qualitative research with a phenomenological type. Phenomenology is a research strategy in which the researcher identifies the nature of human experience about a particular phenomenon. The qualitative research process with a phenomenological type has 3 stages, namely intuitive. The results of the study show that extracurricular activity planning in the formation of students' character is carried out in the form of compiling extracurricular activity programs which are then used as a reference in their implementation. The planning process shows that: Extracurricular activities are preceded by an analysis of the required resources. Extracurricular activity programs are structured according to the Madrasah Vision, Mission and Objectives. The content of character-forming values in each program is contained in the objectives and descriptions of the activities. Extracurricular activities are part of the Madrasah Work Program. Forms of extracurricular activities that are developed are part of the curriculum content. Extracurricular activity programs are prepared collaboratively by competent parties in their fields. Supervision plans through monitoring, evaluation, and activity implementation reports. analyzing, and describing.
