Abstract

morals   of   students   at  SD Royatul Qur’an Batam .   This  study  uses   a qualitative approach.  While  the method  used  in  this research  is descriptive  research method. The data collection technique used is observation, interview and documentation techniques. This participatory observation technique was carried out to observe the geographical location in the form of a location plan and environmental conditions, the school's vision, mission, strategy and motto as well as the condition of human resources at Ishlahul Ummah Batam IT Middle School. Based on the results of the description that has been described that 1. The role of Islamic religious education teachers in developing the morals of students has played an active role in the school. This can be seen from the guidance carried out by Islamic religious education teachers, namely the teacher acts as a teacher, the teacher as an educator and the teacher as a role model. Developing programs  and  plans  for  developing  student morals is quite optimal in carrying out student  moral  development,  but PAI teachers still don't know their students either individually or in groups. 2. The morals of students instilled by PAI teachers in SD Royatul Qur’an Batam , namely: morals towards teachers and employees, morals towards  fellow  friends,  students'  morals  towards  the  school environment,  students' morals towards school assignments and students' morals towards the rules and regulations school.
