ETOS KERJA KEPALA SEKOLAH TERHADAP KEDISIPLINAN GURU SD ALKAHFI ISLAMIC SCHOOL

Abstract

The main objective of this study was to determine "The Effect of the Principal's Work Ethics on Teacher Discipline at Alkahfi Islamic School Elementary School, Baloi Park District, Batam City, Riau Islands" . The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Qualitative descriptive research is a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and perpetrators who are killed, directed from the background of the individual as a whole (holistic) without isolating the individual and their organization in variables but seeing them as part of a whole. The results of this study found that: 1) That the higher the work ethic shown by the principal in his capacity as a leader in the school is a benchmark for better school management policies, one of which is in terms of discipline!; 2) The increase in the work ethic of the Principal at SD Alkahfi Islamic School, Taman Baloi District, Batam City is also directly proportional to the improvement and progress at Alkahfi Islamic School in general, as well as increasing student attendance, increasing public interest in education at SD Alkahfi Islamic School, Taman Baloi District The city of Batam and the school's relationship with the surrounding community are also increasingly harmonious; 3) Implicitly, the link between the improvement of the principal's work ethic and teacher discipline at SD Alkahfi Islamic School, Taman Baloi District, Batam City are indeed two inseparable things, meaning that as a policy maker a school principal becomes a motivator that stimulates teachers to make their best contribution, including in terms of discipline!
