Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out about the Principal's Leadership in improving teacher professionalism. The task of the principal as a leader is to help teachers develop their abilities to the fullest and create a healthy school life atmosphere, encourage teachers, administrative staff, students and parents to unite wills of thought and action in effective collaborative activities to achieve goals. school. In this study, researchers used a qualitative approach. Qualitative research is a research approach that uncovers certain social situations by describing reality correctly, formed by words based on data collection techniques and relevant data analysis obtained from natural situations. In addition to describing in-depth the leadership of the school principal, this study also analyzes the approach used and the factors that influence the structure of the leadership implementation. The results showed that the implementation of Principal Leadership at SDTQ Cita Mulia Lenteng Agung Kec. Jagakarsa City of South Jakarta is quite good, in this case the leadership of the school principal in order to increase the professional competence of teachers is quite dominant.
