<p><em>This study aims to describe the implementation of madrasah principal management in improving teacher performance at MTs Nurul Iman Sekincau, West Lampung Regency, in the 2025/2026 academic year. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects of the study include the principal, teachers, and education staff. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was conducted using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the madrasah principal has effectively implemented management functions, including planning teacher competency improvement programs, organizing tasks and responsibilities, conducting academic supervision, and continuously evaluating teacher performance. The implementation of these management functions has had a positive impact on enhancing teacher professionalism and work motivation in carrying out the learning process. Therefore, the leadership and management of the madrasah principal play an essential role in improving the quality of education in the institution</em></p>Maulana NovaSugitoSugiman

<p><em>This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of emotional intelligence (EQ)-based leadership at Lembaga Diniyyah Nurul Huda, Lampung Barat. In the context of Islamic educational institutions, effective leadership is determined not only by intellectual ability but also by a leader’s capacity to understand, manage, and direct both personal and others’ emotions. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the institution’s leaders, teachers, and staff. The results indicate that leaders’ emotional intelligence significantly contributes to fostering harmonious interpersonal relationships, creating a conducive work environment, and enhancing teachers’ motivation and performance. Moreover, EQ-based leadership helps develop a collaborative and spiritually oriented organizational culture. <p><em>This study aims to analyze the implementation of principal management in improving teacher performance at SMA Negeri 1 Sekincau, West Lampung Regency. Teacher performance is a crucial factor in determining the quality of education in schools. As an educational leader, the principal holds a strategic role in directing, motivating, and empowering teachers to achieve optimal educational goals. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included the principal, vice principals, and several teachers as key informants. The results reveal that the implementation of principal management at SMA Negeri 1 Sekincau is carried out through managerial functions such as planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. The principal actively designs teacher development programs, creates a positive working climate, and conducts regular academic supervision. Challenges faced include limited supporting facilities and inconsistent teacher discipline. However, through effective communication and continuous coaching, the principal successfully enhances teachers’ motivation and commitment to their professional dutie. In conclusion, the principal’s management at SMA Negeri 1 Sekincau has been effectively implemented and has positively impacted teacher performance. <p>Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menemukan dan menganalisis optimalisasi peran yang dilakukan oleh komite sekolah MTs Al-Ittihadiyah Lampung Selatan dalam penguatan karakteristik siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan menggunakan sumber data primer dan sekunder. Untuk membantu pengumpulan data, penulis menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan telaah dokumen. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini meliputi kepala sekolah dan Ketua Komite MTs Al-Ittihadiyah di Lampung Selatan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komite sekolah telah melakukan perannya sebagai lembaga pertimbangan (<em>advisory agency</em>), lembaga pendukung (<em>suppoting </em>agency) dan lembaga pengontrol (<em>controlling agency</em>) dalam penguatan karakter siswa sehingga menghasilkan karakter siswa MTs Al-Ittihadiyah Lampung Selatan yang terbentuk setelah adanya optimalisasi peran komite dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan kegiatan belajar mengajar dalam bentuk sarana dan prasarana, yaitu: karakter religius, karakter kejujuran, karakter toleransi, karakter disiplin, karakter peduli lingkungan serta karakter peduli sosial.</p>Azqiya Akidatul IzzahYayu Tsamrotul FuadahJamjam

<p><em>This study aims to determine the extent to which principal leadership and teacher professionalism influence the improvement of students’ learning outcomes at MAN OKU. The principal serves as the driving force in school management, while teachers are the main implementers of the teaching process in the classroom. The research employed a quantitative descriptive approach, using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation involving principals, teachers, and students. The findings revealed that firm, democratic, and performance-oriented leadership successfully fostered a disciplined and well-organized working culture. However, the improvement of students’ learning outcomes was not solely determined by the principal’s leadership style but also by the teachers’ professionalism in designing varied and innovative learning strategies. The study found that students’ learning outcomes increased by 20% following the implementation of academic supervision and continuous professional development programs for teachers. <p><em>This study aims to analyze the implementation of school-based management in improving the quality of graduates at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Nurul Imam Sekincau, West Lampung Regency, during the 2025/2026 academic year. School-based management (SBM) is a decentralized educational approach that grants schools greater authority to manage their resources effectively and efficiently in achieving educational goals. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the implementation of SBM at MTs Nurul Imam has been relatively effective, as evidenced by the improvement in learning quality, teacher professionalism, and the active involvement of parents and the community in educational activities. The key supporting factors include visionary leadership from the principal, strong collaboration among stakeholders, and a religious school culture. However, challenges remain, such as limited facilities and financial resources. <p><em>This study aims to examine the implementation of character education management in developing students’ interests, attitudes, and positive behavior at MAN 1 Ogan Komering Ulu during the 2025/2026 academic year. Character education is a vital aspect in shaping students into moral, disciplined, and responsible individuals, particularly amid the growing moral and social challenges of the modern era. This research employs a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, and students. The results indicate that the implementation of character education management at MAN 1 Ogan Komering Ulu is carried out through three main stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. In the planning stage, the school designs character development programs integrated into learning activities and extracurricular programs. During the implementation stage, teachers act as role models and facilitators in instilling values of religiosity, discipline, and responsibility in students. Meanwhile, in the evaluation stage, the school conducts continuous monitoring and assessment of students’ character development. <p style="margin-bottom: 10.0pt; text-align: justify;"><em>This study aims to describe the principal’s strategies in improving the quality of learning at SMA Negeri 1 Sekincau, West Lampung Regency, in the 2025/2026 academic year. The research employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal, teachers, and education staff. The findings reveal that the principal implemented several key strategies to enhance learning quality, namely: (1) improving teachers’ competence through training and workshops, (2) conducting regular academic supervision, (3) optimizing the use of technology-based learning facilities and infrastructure, and (4) fostering a collaborative work culture among school members. The supporting factors include the strong commitment of teachers and the school committee, while the main obstacles are limited facilities and funding. Overall, the principal’s strategies have proven effective in creating higher-quality, more innovative, and student-centered learning processes. </em></p>JulitaEtika Pujianti
