PENGARUH INTENSITAS MEMBACA AL-QUR’AN TERHADAP PERILAKU KEAGAMAAN PESERTA DIDIK DI SMK SMTI BANDAR LAMPUNG
Abstract
Globalization is a development of science and culture that extends to various corners of the world. The influence of the era of globalization has brought the world to be increasingly open. Ultimately, globalization cannot be avoided to continue to progress in order to keep up with current developments, especially in the field of technology. However, in this distribution there are positive and negative impacts that can be felt by everyone. The rapid development of technology can have a bad influence, namely being able to freely do whatever the individual wants. This can influence their behavior. Declining morals and attitudes lead to concerns for society. Therefore, globalization must be paid attention to so that the spread of negative impacts can be avoided, especially for teenagers who are just starting to grow up. Proper treatment is a solution to avoid this problem. One of which of religious education is reading and understanding Al-Qur’an. This can be used as a guide in life. Therefore, this study aimed to explore the influence of the intensity of reading Al-Qur’an and students' religious behavior. A total of 36 level XI students at SMK-SMTI schools in Bandar Lampung were the research samples. A model of quantitative approach with data collection techniques was carried out by distributing closed-ended questionnaires regarding the intensity of reading Al-Qur’an and the students' religious behavior as well as documentation. The findings obtained resulted in the regression coefficient being positive with an X value of 0.738 with every 1% increase in variable X, the value of variable Y will also increase. It can be concluded that the more intensely students read Al-Qur’an, the better their religious behavior will be. Therefore, the intensity of reading the Koran has a positive impact on students' religious behavior.
