Abstract

Madrasah leadership is the ability and authority to influence, move, and direct actions, as well as stimulate the creation of a strong will with excitement and confidence for instructors, staff, and students to carry out their individual roles and inspire madrasas to achieve goals. A teacher's professionalism, essentially an understanding of learning, curriculum, and human development, including learning styles, is essential in establishing a knowledge-based school. Learning planning, learning implementation, learning evaluation, mentoring, and continual professional growth are indications of teacher professionalism. The researchers aimed to find out "The Influence of Madrasah Head Leadership on Teacher Professional Competence at Madrasah Aliyah Hidayatul Mubtadiin Jati Agung South Lampung Academic Year 2020/2021". based on this background. "Is There an Influence of Madrasah Principal Leadership on Teacher Professional Competence at Madrasah Aliyah Hidayatul Mubtadiin Jati Agung South Lampung Academic Year 2020/2021" is the title of the study. This is a quantitative study that took place at MA Hidayatul Mubtadiin, which has a population of 33 people. Based on the results of the Regression Test between Principal Leadership and Teacher Professional Competence at Madrasah Aliyah Hidayatul Mubtadiin Jati Agung, it can be concluded that the linear regression test can explain the correlation or relationship, namely R 0.945, from the output obtained a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.893, which contains the understanding that the influence of the X variable on the Y variable is 89.3%, which means that there is an influence between the Principal's Leadership on the Professional Competence of Teachers.The data was collected using the approach, which included a questionnaire and the SPSS 21 application. The study's findings are based on the results of the T test sig. 0.000, which means that the value is less than 0.05, and it can be concluded that the Madrasah Principal's leadership has a substantial impact on the Professional Competence of Teachers. Tcount > Ttable, which is 16.108 > 0.000, according to the T-Test calculation. As a result, it can be inferred that the leadership of the madrasa's head has a positive and considerable influence on the competency of teacher professionalism at MA Hidayatul Mubtadiin Jati Agung, implying that Ha is accepted and Ho is refused.
