This study aims to develop multiple representation-based Student Worksheets (LKPD) as an effort to improve students' scientific representation skills at Al-Falah Islamic Junior High School, Sumbermulya, Pulau Panggung District, Tanggamus Regency in the 2025/2026 Academic Year. Scientific representation is an important skill in science learning because it enables students to understand concepts through various forms of representation, such as verbal, visual, mathematical, and symbolic. This study uses a research and development (R&D) method with a development model adapted from Borg & Gall, including the stages of needs analysis, product design, expert validation, revision, limited trials, and extensive trials. The developed LKPD contains activities that integrate various forms of representation to help students build a more complete understanding of concepts. The validation results from material experts and media experts indicate that the multiple representation-based LKPD is categorized as very suitable for use in learning. Limited trials and extensive trials showed a significant increase in students' scientific representation abilities after using the LKPD, as seen from the increase in scientific representation test scores and students' positive responses to the learning activities. Thus, this multiple representation-based LKPD is effectively used as supporting teaching materials to improve the quality of learning and students' scientific representation abilities at SMP Islam Al-Falah Sumbermulya.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Akidah Akhlak instruction in shaping students’ personality development at MI Ujung Bom, Bumi Waras District, Bandar Lampung, during the 2025 academic year. The research focuses on instructional planning, teaching strategies, the teacher’s role as a moral guide, and the impact of learning on students' character formation. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that Akidah Akhlak teachers apply learning approaches that emphasize value internalization, positive behavioral habituation, exemplary conduct, and dialogical interaction that connects learning materials with students’ real-life experiences. Additionally, teachers serve as moral role models who consistently demonstrate polite, honest, and disciplined behavior, influencing students’ personal development. The study indicates that Akidah Akhlak instruction significantly contributes to nurturing students’ religious attitudes, respectfulness, responsibility, and social ethics. However, challenges include limited external environmental support and diverse student backgrounds. Overall, Akidah Akhlak teaching plays a strategic role in strengthening students’ personality development at the elementary Islamic education level and should be further enhanced through improved instructional techniques, appropriate learning media, and stronger collaboration between schools and parents.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Scout extracurricular program in improving the discipline of eighth-grade students at SMP PIRI, Jatiagung District, South Lampung Regency, for the 2024/2025 academic year. Discipline is a fundamental aspect of character education, reflected in students’ compliance with rules, punctuality, responsibility, and orderly behavior. The Scout program, as a nonformal character education platform, is believed to play a strategic role in instilling disciplinary values through various activities such as ceremonies, marching drills, routine scouting practices, and assignments that emphasize both personal and group discipline. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the Scout extracurricular program significantly contributes to improving students’ discipline. This can be seen from increased compliance with school rules, enhanced teamwork skills, and improved responsibility in completing tasks. Supporting factors include the commitment of Scout mentors, school support, and the regular implementation of activities. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited facilities, inconsistent student attendance, and time constraints. Overall, the Scout extracurricular program proves effective in fostering student discipline and should continue to be developed as a vital character-building program in schools

This study aims to examine the implementation of Aqidah Akhlak learning and its impact on student behavior at MTs Al-Mujahidin, Tanjung Jabung Barat, Jambi. Aqidah Akhlak education plays a crucial role in shaping students’ religious understanding and moral habits, which are expected to bring positive changes in student behavior in accordance with Islamic teachings. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection methods including classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and learning documentation. Findings indicate that the implementation of Aqidah Akhlak learning involved routine habituation of moral values, contextualized material delivery, and reinforcement through worship practices and daily reflection. These efforts contributed to improvements in students’ religious behavior, including discipline, responsibility, tolerance, and regular participation in religious activities. Nevertheless, challenges such as varying student motivation and limited learning resources were found to affect consistent behavioral changes. The study recommends strengthening learning supervision and enhancing the quality of media and instructional approaches to optimize the implementation of Aqidah Akhlak in influencing student behavior more effectively.

Pengaruh Media Pembelajaran terhadap Efektivitas Pembelajaran Fiqih di SMP Islam Smart Karakter Talang Kelapa Banyuasin

This study aims to analyze the influence of learning media on the effectiveness of Fiqh learning among students at SMP Islam Smart Karakter. The research is grounded in the growing need for the use of appropriate learning media to enhance students’ understanding of Fiqh concepts, particularly at the junior high school level where interactive learning is essential. Learning media play an important role in creating engaging learning environments, simplifying abstract concepts, and increasing students’ learning motivation and achievement. This study employed a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design. Data were collected through questionnaires on media usage, observations of learning activities, and documentation of student achievement scores. The findings reveal that learning media have a positive and significant impact on the effectiveness of Fiqh learning, as evidenced by increased student engagement, improved conceptual understanding, and optimal achievement of learning objectives. Furthermore, technology-based and audiovisual media were found to enhance students’ focus and reduce learning fatigue more effectively compared to conventional methods. Thus, the study highlights that the use of learning media is a crucial factor that must be considered by Fiqh teachers to improve the overall quality of learning in schools.

Penerapan Metode Bermain Peran dalam Pembelajaran PAI Kelas IV SDN 2 Tarahan Lampung Selatan

This study evaluates the implementation of role-play instructional strategy in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for fourth-grade students at SDN 2 Tarahan, Dusun Sinar Laut, Lampung Selatan Regency during the 2025/2026 academic year. The objectives are to (1) describe how role-play is implemented in PAI lessons, (2) assess its effects on students’ spiritual competencies and social attitudes (e.g., empathy, religious value comprehension, and confidence in worship), and (3) identify facilitating and inhibiting factors. The research uses an explanatory mixed-methods design: a quantitative pretest–posttest quasi-experimental phase with 60 students (30 intervention, 30 control) employing attitude scales and performance observation; and a qualitative phase consisting of in-depth interviews with six teachers and participant observation over eight role-play sessions. Results indicate a statistically significant improvement in PAI knowledge and religious attitude indicators for the intervention group compared to the control group (p<0.05). Qualitative findings reveal that role-play boosts student motivation, religious communication skills, and peer empathy; primary constraints include limited instructional time and teachers’ readiness to design pedagogical scenarios. Practical recommendations include integrating role-play into lesson plans, providing teacher training for script development, and allocating extracurricular time for rehearsal.

This study aims to analyze the strategies used by Aqidah Ahlak teachers in shaping students’ religious character through religious extracurricular activities at MTs Alfakhriyah in the 2025/2026 academic year. The development of religious character has become increasingly essential amid growing moral and social challenges; thus, teachers and school-based religious activities play a strategic role in internalizing Islamic values among students. This research adopts a qualitative approach with a case study design involving Aqidah Ahlak teachers, extracurricular supervisors, and students participating in religious activities. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that teachers employ several key strategies, including modeling, habituation, value reinforcement, and integrating Aqidah Ahlak instruction with extracurricular programs such as regular Islamic studies, worship practices, Qur’an recitation, and spiritual development activities. These strategies effectively foster students’ spiritual awareness, worship discipline, and religious character as reflected in their daily behavior. The study concludes that the success of religious character formation is not solely dependent on classroom instruction but also on the alignment of extracurricular programs that are systematically designed, continuously implemented, and supported by the active role of teachers as character educators.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai keagamaan pada siswa di Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) An-Nur Desa Suka Pindah Kecamatan Rambutan Kabupaten Banyuasin Sumatera Selatan Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada strategi, metode, dan pendekatan yang digunakan guru PAI dalam membimbing, membina, dan membentuk karakter religius peserta didik pada lingkungan madrasah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI melakukan berbagai upaya seperti pembiasaan praktik ibadah harian, keteladanan dalam perilaku, penegakan disiplin religius, pemberian nasihat, bimbingan personal, serta integrasi nilai keagamaan ke dalam seluruh proses pembelajaran. Upaya tersebut terbukti berpengaruh positif terhadap perkembangan sikap religius siswa, terutama pada aspek akhlak, kedisiplinan ibadah, dan tanggung jawab moral. Temuan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi peningkatan kualitas pembinaan keagamaan di tingkat madrasah.

This paper aims to explore the role of the head of the madrasah as a manager in improving the performance of teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Hidayatul Mubtadiien. This research indicates that the head of the madrasah plays a crucial role in creating a conducive work environment for teachers to collaborate and innovate in learning activities. This study adopts a qualitative approach for data collection through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results show that strategies employed by the head of the madrasah, such as professional development, regular performance evaluations, and support for learning innovations, significantly contribute to the improvement of teacher performance. This research is expected to serve as a reference for other madrasah heads in fulfilling their managerial duties

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using audio-visual methods to train listening skills and memory abilities among early childhood learners at TK Adzra, Bengkalis Regency, in the 2025/2026 academic year. The audio-visual method was selected because it provides simultaneous auditory and visual stimuli, which enhances children’s focus, concentration, and ability to understand and retain information. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the audio-visual method is highly effective in improving children’s listening skills, as shown by their increased accuracy in responding to instructions, recognizing sounds, and participating in simple conversations. Moreover, children’s memory abilities improved significantly, demonstrated by their ability to recall stories, vocabulary, songs, and sequences of activities after receiving audio-visual stimulation. The method also created an enjoyable learning atmosphere, motivating children to actively engage in the learning process. Therefore, the audio-visual method is considered an effective instructional strategy for enhancing listening skills and memory in early childhood education

Teacher discipline is a critical component of improving the quality of education. This study aims to analyze the leadership role of the principal of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hidayatul Mubtadiin, Jati Agung District, South Lampung Regency, in improving teacher work discipline during the 2025/2026 academic year. A descriptive qualitative method was employed to examine leadership strategies, disciplinary approaches, and the supporting and inhibiting factors that influence teacher discipline. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, presentation, and verification stages. The findings reveal that the principal demonstrates strong visionary and transformational leadership while practicing exemplary conduct. The principal successfully creates a conducive work environment, motivates teachers, implements persuasive disciplinary coaching, and carries out consistent supervision of teacher performance. Supporting factors include a religious school culture, harmonious relationships among teachers, and support from parents and the school committee. Challenges identified in this study include limited principal time, differences in teacher personalities, and insufficient innovation in disciplinary development patterns. Overall, the principal’s leadership plays an effective and strategic role in enhancing teacher discipline and improving the overall performance of the institution.

PENGARUH PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE WORD SQUARE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS KELAS IV SD NU HIDAYATUL ULUM KABUPATEN LAMPUNG

Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain true experimental design.Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan tekhnik probability sampling, yang melibatkan 50 siswa sebagai sampel.Sampel yang pertama berjumlah 25 siswa untuk kelas eksperimen, dan sampel kedua berjumlah 25 siswa untuk kelas kontrol.Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil pretest dan posttest, yang berupa soal pilihan ganda berjumlah 20 soal.Analisis data kedua kelompok tersebut menggunakan uji-t dengan bantuanSPSS 20.

Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV A yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran word square adalah 81,20, dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV B yang diberikan pembelajaran dengan metode konvensional adalah 73,00 dengan nilai thitung< ttabel (2,063 < 6,718 ≥ 2,063), dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). Hal ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran word square terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa.

This study examines the implementation of active learning strategies aimed at improving the effectiveness of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) instruction at SD Tahfidz Sahabat Qur’an Al-Hikmah, Bandar Lampung, in the 2025/2026 academic year. The objectives are to (1) describe the active learning models used, (2) assess their impact on student engagement and understanding of PAI content, and (3) identify enablers and barriers to implementation. A mixed-methods design was employed: a quasi-experimental component measured learning gains, while qualitative surveys, classroom observations, and teacher interviews documented classroom processes. The sample included two experimental classes and one control class selected purposively. Data collection instruments encompassed formative tests, engagement observation checklists, semi-structured interviews, and lesson artifacts. Results indicate that active learning approaches structured discussions, small project-based tasks, and role-plays for worship practice significantly improved students’ comprehension scores and in-class engagement compared to the control group. Teacher facilitation skills and the tahfidz environment were critical for sustaining active learning practices. The study recommends continuous professional development for teachers and curriculum adjustments to allocate space for active pedagogies in PAI.

Pengamalan Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Agama Islam Pada Peserta Didik Di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Bahrul Ulum

This study aims to describe and analyze the practice (implementation) of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) values among students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Bahrul Ulum in the 2025/2026 academic year. The investigation focuses on observable forms of value practice (faith, ethics, worship routines, and social behaviors), mechanisms of internalization within the madrasah environment, and supporting and inhibiting factors. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed with data collected via participant observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, students, and parents, and documentation of curricular and extracurricular religious activities. Findings indicate that IRE values are practiced daily through collective prayers, school etiquette routines, participation in congregational worship, and prosocial behaviors such as honesty and mutual help. Internalization processes were fostered by teacher modeling, habituation, contextualized instruction, and extracurricular religious programs. Challenges included uneven parental support, limited religious instructional resources, and uncontrolled digital media influences. The study recommends strengthening madrasah–family collaboration, enhancing PAI teachers’ capacity in value internalization methods, and developing child-friendly contextual learning media to better support the practice of Islamic values among primary-level learners.

This study aims to describe the efforts of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in improving teacher professionalism at MA Hidayatul Mubtadiin Jati Agung, South Lampung, during the 2025/2026 academic year. Teacher professionalism is a crucial component of educational quality, particularly in Islamic-based institutions that emphasize character formation and pedagogical mastery. This research examines the strategies employed by PAI teachers to enhance professional, pedagogical, social, and personal competencies through various programs such as regular training, curriculum development, academic supervision, and participation in subject-teacher forums. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings show that PAI teachers play a central role in motivating colleagues to improve their competencies through exemplary conduct, collaborative mentoring, and continuous instructional innovation. Institutional support, including training facilities and effective supervision, further strengthens professional development. The study concludes that structured and sustainable efforts carried out by PAI teachers can serve as a model for other madrasah in promoting teacher professionalism and improving the overall quality of Islamic

This study aims to analyze the influence of learning quality on students’ academic achievement in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) at the elementary school level. Learning quality is examined through dimensions of instructional planning, teaching implementation, teacher–student interaction, and assessment processes. A quantitative descriptive approach was applied, involving data collection through questionnaires, documentation, and structured observations. The findings reveal that high learning quality significantly contributes to improved student achievement in IRE, particularly in conceptual understanding, attitude formation, and skill development. The study also highlights that effective teachers demonstrate mastery of pedagogical competencies, integrate appropriate learning media, and manage classrooms in ways that foster active, disciplined, and meaningful learning environments. Additionally, students exposed to high-quality learning tend to show increased motivation, deeper engagement, and better retention of Islamic values. The results emphasize the importance of continuous professional development for teachers and the integration of innovative instructional strategies to strengthen learning quality. This research contributes to the growing body of literature that underscores the relationship between instructional excellence and student outcomes, particularly within the domain of religious education. This study examines the implementation of Aqidah Ahlak instruction and its impact on student behavior at MIS Nurul Hikam, Tanjung Jabung Barat, Jambi, during the 2025/2026 academic year. The research aims to (1) describe the model of Aqidah Ahlak teaching implemented at the madrasah, (2) evaluate its effects on behavioral dimensions (discipline, morals, and social care), and (3) identify supporting and inhibiting factors in implementation. The study used a mixed-methods explanatory design: a quantitative phase with a survey and behavior scale administered to 72 purposively selected students, followed by a qualitative phase consisting of in-depth interviews with six teachers and classroom/extracurricular observations. Quantitative results indicate a statistically significant increase in mean behavior scores after structured Aqidah Ahlak instruction (p<0.05), especially in discipline and respectful attitudes. Qualitative findings corroborate these results: teachers employed role modeling, habitual religious practices, and reflective learning that facilitated value internalization. Supporting factors included parental involvement and an integrated timetable; primary challenges were differing family backgrounds and limited instructional time. Implications suggest strengthening a contextualized curriculum, teacher professional development, and school-parent collaboration to sustain behavioral change.

Implementasi Metode Tahsin, Talaqqi, dan Tasmi' pada Hafalan Santriwati Markaz Quran Kepri

This study analyzes the implementation of tahsin, talaqqi, and tasmi' methods to improve Qur'anic memorization quality among female students at RTQ Tanjungpinang — Yayasan Markaz Quran Kepri for the 2025–2026 academic year. A mixed-methods explanatory design was adopted: quantitative surveys measured memorization outcomes (fluency, tajwīd accuracy, and retention), while qualitative in-depth interviews and participant observation explored instructional practices, teacher strategies, and enabling/inhibiting factors. The sample comprised 48 female students and 6 instructors. Quantitative results indicated a statistically significant improvement in reading fluency and memorization retention following implementation of the combined methods (p<0.05). Qualitative findings revealed tahsin strengthened tajwīd and articulation; talaqqi improved accuracy through direct teacher feedback; tasmi' enhanced long-term retention via scheduled recitation examinations and audio/livel feedback. Supporting factors included student motivation, boarding schedule alignment, and instructor coaching; obstacles included wide variation in initial proficiency and time constraints. The study suggests integrating these methods into a cohesive tahfiz curriculum and investing in instructor training to sustain memorization quality. Recommendations include a hybrid model (teacher-led sessions, peer review, and recorded tasmi') and regular evaluation to maintain memorization standards.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Question and Answer (Q&A) method in teaching English grammar to Grade VI students at MI Islamiyah Ujung Bom. Grammar is a fundamental component of English language learning; however, many elementary school students experience difficulties in understanding grammatical concepts due to teacher-centered and monotonous instructional methods. To address this issue, this research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test control group. The subjects of this study consisted of two groups of Grade VI students: an experimental group taught using the Question and Answer method and a control group taught using conventional teaching methods. Data were collected through grammar achievement tests administered before and after the treatment. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential analysis to determine the effectiveness of the implemented method.The findings revealed that students in the experimental group showed a significant improvement in their grammar achievement compared to those in the control group. In addition, the Question and Answer method increased students’ classroom participation, confidence, and motivation in learning English grammar. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Question and Answer method is effective in improving students’ English grammar mastery at the elementary school level.

Analisis Penguasaan Kosakata Bahasa Indonesia Siswa Di MI Ianatushibyan 1 Sukamaju Way Sulan Lampung Selatan

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Indonesia siswa di MI Ianatushibyan 1 Sukamaju Way Sulan, Lampung Selatan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian berupa siswa kelas V dan VI. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes penguasaan kosakata dan observasi aktivitas pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat penguasaan kosakata siswa bervariasi, di mana sebagian besar siswa memiliki penguasaan kosakata dalam kategori cukup, sementara beberapa siswa masih berada pada kategori kurang. Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi penguasaan kosakata antara lain metode pembelajaran, frekuensi penggunaan kosakata dalam pembelajaran, minat belajar, dan lingkungan belajar. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penguasaan kosakata siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui metode pembelajaran yang variatif, latihan rutin, dan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung.

Character education is one of the important aspects in education that focuses on developing moral and ethical values of students. This study aims to analyze the efforts of the headmaster in implementing character education at SMK Al-Asror Sekampung, East Lampung Regency. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that the headmaster plays a significant role in designing and implementing character education programs through various extracurricular activities and training for teachers. Additionally, support from parents and the community significantly influences the success of this program. This research is expected to serve as a reference for other educational institutions in developing character education in their schools
