Pembelajaran Akidah Akhlak Guru dalam Pengembangan Kepribadian Siswa di MI Ujung Bom Bumi Waras Bandar Lampung

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Akidah Akhlak instruction in shaping students’ personality development at MI Ujung Bom, Bumi Waras District, Bandar Lampung, during the 2025 academic year. The research focuses on instructional planning, teaching strategies, the teacher’s role as a moral guide, and the impact of learning on students' character formation. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that Akidah Akhlak teachers apply learning approaches that emphasize value internalization, positive behavioral habituation, exemplary conduct, and dialogical interaction that connects learning materials with students’ real-life experiences. Additionally, teachers serve as moral role models who consistently demonstrate polite, honest, and disciplined behavior, influencing students’ personal development. The study indicates that Akidah Akhlak instruction significantly contributes to nurturing students’ religious attitudes, respectfulness, responsibility, and social ethics. However, challenges include limited external environmental support and diverse student backgrounds. Overall, Akidah Akhlak teaching plays a strategic role in strengthening students’ personality development at the elementary Islamic education level and should be further enhanced through improved instructional techniques, appropriate learning media, and stronger collaboration between schools and parents.
